Physiotherapy for Mobility, has been set up to provide individuals or small groups, physiotherapy to address difficulties with movement e.g. reaching to cupboards, stiffness when sitting leading to difficulty standing, effortful walking etc.

A physiotherapy programme is tailored in your own home to your requirements.

The main issues addressed with physiotherapy are:
  • Adapting exercise programmes to optimise activities you enjoy or need to do as part of your daily routine.
  •
Postural advice / programmes particular for those who have to sit / lie for long periods of time.
  • Monitoring symptoms and providing support only when required.
  • Intensive rehabilitation post relapse or a period of being unwell.
  • Neurological Rehabilitation / Management.
How will private physiotherapy work alongside everyone else involved with my care?

On registration with physiotherapy for mobility your GP will be informed of our involvement in your care.  Other professionals / carers will be informed only in agreement with your self.

Your programmes will be kept in a folder by your self for your own information / to take to appointments / share with carers etc. as you wish.
